I went through my closet and pulled some stuff that I just didn’t wear anymore. Why bother keeping them, then?
There was a clothing swap with a friend of Husband’s over the weekend and I thought this would be a perfect chance to get some new clothes while clearing out a few things from my closet.
It’s going against my 50 item cluttering challenge:
14. Three skirts, one of which used to be my “date skirt” from college. It’s time for it to go.
15. One pair white pants that don’t fit.
16. One dress.
17. Six shirts.
18. Three purses.
19. One belt.
Looks like the pile I made the other night! I got rid of stuff I just don't wear and that was too big!
ReplyDeleteI love that I wasn't the only one that had certain clothes for going out in college...
ReplyDelete@newteacherwife - Um, didn't everyone? There was a shirt in that bunch that was see-through and SO from freshman year. Seriously, what was I thinking?
ReplyDeleteI still have a couple of items from high school! But in my big (and ongoing) purge, I think I have wiped almost all of it out. Way to go! I am up to 376 things (some groups, ie bag of pencils and pens, others not-8 big, bulky binders? No way something so bulky is only going to count as 1 thing!) Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! I'm doing a major clean out of all the stuff I've accumulated and it's so freeing!
